QR codes for your link

Every tracking link has a QR code you can download for print and in-person use. A scan credits a sale the same way a click does.

Wondering if a QR code on a flyer or a slide still gets you paid? It does. A scan opens your tracking link, so a sale is credited the same way a click is. There is nothing extra to set up.

You earn the commission the brand sets, in full. The 20% platform fee is billed to the brand, so it is never taken out of your payout.

Where your QR code lives

Every tracking link already has a QR code. You do not generate it separately.

  • Open the link's Details. From your athlete dashboard, find the program's link and open its Details.
  • Download the QR code. Save it in the format that fits where it is going (formats are below).
  • One per program. There is one tracking link per brand relationship, so there is one QR code per program. It points at the same shrr.app/<slug> link you already share.

If you have not created your link yet, start with creating and sharing your tracking link.

Which format to download

Pick by where the code will be seen.

FormatBest forWhy
PNGSlides, social graphics, screensA fixed-size image that drops straight into a deck or post.
SVGPosters, flyers, business cards, bannersA vector that stays sharp at any print size, from a card to a wall.

Print big from the SVG

For anything printed, use the SVG. It scales to any size without going blurry, so the same file works for a business card and a gym poster.

Using it in person and in print

A QR code is the easiest way to share your link where there is no clickable text: on stage, at an event, or on paper.

  • Live and in-person. Put it on a slide, a banner, or a table card so people scan it from their seats.
  • Print. Add it to flyers, posters, business cards, or a product insert.
  • Show notes and screens. Drop it into a podcast slide or a video lower-third where a typed link would not work.

Give people a reason to scan and a moment to do it. A short line like "scan to shop" plus a few seconds on screen works better than a code with no context.

How a scan gets credited

A scan and a click are the same thing to our system, because a scan opens your tracking link.

  • First-party and server-side. When someone scans, lands on the brand's Shopify store, and buys, the order is credited automatically. There is no discount code for the customer to enter and nothing for them to remember.
  • The window still applies. Credit holds for the program's attribution window, so a sale still counts if the person scans now and buys a few days later.
  • Same payout path. A scan-driven sale is paid exactly like a click-driven one. Payouts run automatically through Stripe Connect: once your brand's monthly invoice clears, we pay out daily, with a $25 minimum, and balances under that roll forward. On December 15 we pay out any remaining balance regardless of the minimum.

Test before you print

Scan your own QR code once with your phone before you send a flyer to print or lock a slide. You will land on the right store, and you will know the code is good.

FAQ

How do I get a QR code?

Open the link's Details from your dashboard and download the QR code. It comes as a PNG for slides and posters and an SVG vector for print at any size. There is one QR code per program, the same as your tracking link.

Does it track the same as my link?

Yes. A scan opens your tracking link, so the sale is credited exactly the same way a click is: first-party and server-side through the brand's Shopify store, with no discount code for the customer to enter. You earn the commission the brand sets, in full.
