Creating your tracking link

You get one tracking link per brand. It credits every sale it sends, with no discount code for anyone to enter.

Worried that getting a tracking link means juggling a different one for every product, or pushing a discount code people have to type in? Neither is true here. You get one link per brand, it credits every sale it sends, and there is no code for anyone to enter. Here is how it works.

You earn the commission the brand sets, in full. The 20% platform fee is billed to the brand, so it is never taken out of your payout.

One tracking link per brand, not per product

When a brand approves you, you get one tracking link for that program. That single link covers the whole brand relationship.

  • One link per brand. Work with three brands, and you have three links, one per relationship.
  • Not per product. You do not make a separate link for each item. The same link works for everything in the brand's store.
  • Share it anywhere. Your bio, a story, a newsletter, a podcast, or a QR code on a poster. It is the same link every time.

Why one link is easier

One link per brand means one thing to copy, one thing to track, and one set of numbers to read. You see clicks, sales, and earnings for that brand in one place, instead of spreading them across a pile of product links.

How your link credits every sale

Your tracking link carries a ?ref= tag that identifies you. When someone clicks it and buys from the brand's store, the order is matched to you on the brand's server, so the credit holds.

Here is the path a sale takes:

  1. Someone clicks your link. The ?ref= tag travels with them to the brand's store.
  2. They buy. It does not matter which product they pick. The tag is attached to their order.
  3. The order is matched to you. Harmonia reads the tag server-side and credits the sale to you.

This is first-party, server-side attribution through the brand's Shopify store. Because the matching happens on the server, it keeps working even if the person uses an ad blocker, switches browsers, or comes back to buy a few days later. Credit holds for the program's attribution window, so a click today can still earn you a sale later that week.

No discount code needed

You do not push a code, and the customer does not enter one.

  • Nothing for the customer to type. They click, they shop, they check out at the normal price.
  • Premium brands keep their pricing. No discount means the brand never has to erode its prices to work with you.
  • You still get the credit. The ?ref= tag does the work in the background, so the sale comes back to you.

What this replaces

Legacy affiliate programs often hand you a discount code and hope the customer remembers to use it. If they forget, you lose the sale. Here the tracking rides on your link, so there is nothing to forget.

The link details view

Open any of your tracking links to see its details. This is where you copy the link, grab extras, and check how it is doing.

FAQ

Do I get one link or many?

One per brand. When a brand approves you, you get a single tracking link for that program. You do not make a new link for each product. If you work with three brands, you have three links, one per relationship. Share the same link everywhere for that brand: your bio, a story, a podcast, a QR code on a poster.

Can I link to a specific product?

Yes. Your tracking link points to the brand's store, and you can add a path or an anchor tag so it lands on a specific product or section. The ?ref= tag stays attached, so the sale is still credited to you no matter which product the person buys. See anchor and destination tags for how to set the landing spot.

Do I need a discount code?

No. Harmonia uses first-party, server-side attribution through the brand's Shopify store. When someone clicks your tracking link and buys, the order is credited automatically, with no discount code for the customer to enter and nothing for them to remember. Premium brands keep their pricing, and you still get paid.
