Reversal (clawback)

A reversal happens when the order behind a commission is refunded within its refund window. If the whole order is refunded, the full commission is removed; if only part is refunded, the commission is reduced in proportion to the refunded amount. Reversals are tied to refunds on the order matched on our server, not to click quality, which is a sortable signal and never triggers a clawback on its own. A reversal adjusts what the athlete is owed and what the brand is billed, since the 20% platform fee is calculated on top of the commission.
